Really good ice cream. Just came off a trip to Italy for one week after eating gelato every night and so I wasn't expecting that great of ice cream. I was pleasantly surprised they make their own ice cream and it was really good. Pricey but we're in a tourist town aren't we? Customer service was sub par. Thought the girl behind the counter was going to fall asleep. Just a smile would be nice!

Can't say I'm crazy about fudge but my wife is so we gave it shot. Excellent!!! Very rich, smooth and every bite was like an explosion of flavor. If you're a fudge person, you'll be pleased. Bring your wallet though :-)

DUDE! Their ice cream is the bomb!!!! Creamy and delicious. Must try the Divinity pecan roll...it will make you happy!

This was my first visit to Kilwin's. I must say I was not disappointed. We tried several types of delicious fudge before deciding to purchase the chocolate fudge with English walnuts. The service was quick & friendly. Sadly we didn't have the time to wait around to watch the fudge masters at work on their next creation. Perhaps we'll have a chance to do that in the future.

Best ice cream! I go to panama city atleast 3 times or more a year to go fishing.. and this place is def a needed stop everytime I come.. toasted coconut is the best with the waffle cone! I'm from Atlanta Georgia area.. and they have one there too but it's just not the same as eating ice cream in the hot sun at the beach! Definitely stop by if your around

We stopped in after dinner. Order waffle bowl with chocolate caramel cashew and praline pecan ice cream. OMG soooooo good. Good service. Didn't try candy or fudge. Will back soon.

This place has become a must-have on our Panama City Beach visits, often more than once per trip. The items are not cheap, but well worth it. I highly recommend the Sea Turtle, which is basically a huge pecan turtle with sea salt sprinkled on top. Decadent and delicious. They have so many great items that it makes it so hard to choose. The ice cream is also quite good with new flavors every time we visit, depending on the season.

In a touristy place I don't expect star ratings to be accurate. This place is true to it's rating, however. We had peanut brittle, ice cream, a caramel apple (turtle) and a peanut cluster. Everything is fantastic. Great chocolate and candy with great service! This was the highlight of our boardwalk visit.

After dinner last night I wanted some dessert. A quick yelp search told me I should come here. The ice cream and the fudge was great. All of the employees were very helpful as well.

Always very friendly! The fudge and caramel apples are delicious as well. It can be expensive but the product is worth the price.

It's Sunday morning and my wife is still talking about the great ice cream she had last night and debating in going to get another one even though 9:30 in the morning. I would say it was probably one of the best ice cream cones I've ever had. Homemade waffle cone with Salted Caramel ice cream is a fantastic choice. My wife is a chocolate lover and got the Chocolate Caramel cashew. We both were drown by the fresh aroma coming from the doors and left satisfied after a fantastic ice cream cones. Got a sweet tooth? I would recommend this place for all you sweet lovers.

Cappuccino Chocolate Chip!! Not too creamy, not too sweet, dark chocolate chip, and a freshly made waffle cone = my favorite!

Great ice cream. the salted Carmel and cookie dough ice cream are amazing. I did give it 4 stars though because the service wasn't very quick, and it was over priced.

We visited this place after dinner for a dessert snack. Wow! What a great candy and ice cream place. I totally understand why the Toasted Cocoanut ice cream is their #1 flavor. I walked right by another ice cream place to go here. Sorry, Marble Slab, Kilwins is better. The fudge is great too! We left with a 1/2 lbs. pkg if peanut butter fudge. If you try it, you won't be disappointed and will go back!

Although the line was at the door, I decided to wait it out because the ice cream is THAT good. While waiting in line we were able to see a worker making fudge. It was actually pretty cool and the smell was heavenly. I ordered the cheesecake caramel icecream and it was really tasty. I only got a single scoop with the cake cone and I was tempted to go back and get a double scoop waffle cone.

Oh boy is this place delicious. Some of the best ice cream I have had. I have tried their salted caramel, pistachio, maple walnut, and rocky road flavors and they were all delicious. Maple walnut was my personal favorite, but all of them were delightful.

LOVED the ice cream. Workers weren't real friendly which is y I didn't rate 5 stars. Did not try the fudge was a little scared to since it was so expensive. I didn't want to end up loving it but not even afford to buy it. Would go again just for that ice cream.

Stopped in here with the Snowbird parents while we were in town visiting them. The ice cream is made in house and tastes fantastic. The Salted caramel was amazing. The Father-Type person with us go a chocolate covered oreo, which he would not share!! Good times all around.

Perhaps strategically placed across the street from the Pepper Palace, my friends sought refuge here from their pepper burned mouths. The second you walk in, the aroma of sweets overtakes you and you can't help but want to buy something. You are allowed free samples of ice cream and fudge to aid in persuading you. My friends got some ice cream and the guys behind the counter knew just were we had just come from lol.

We eat at a Kilwins quite often and like most people we eat the same favors. This location is a tourist trap and the staff could care less. Ordered a single scoop of salted caramel which was runny and about 3/4 of a cup worth of ice cream. I would save your time and money and visit another Kilwins.

    (2)
  • Toree C.

Kilwins, I'll dream of you in Ohio. The ice cream was excellent, and they have a wide variety of flavors which made it very difficult to choose. I ultimately went with the Apple Pie flavor and I was not disappointed. What took this delicious treat to the next level was the waffle bowl - amazing. They offered samples of any of the flavors of both the ice cream and their fudge. Their Yelp page says their open until 11PM, but they close at 10PM.

Last year I got chocolates from here and they were sooo good. They have fudge, chocolate covered cherries, bananas, marshmallows, s'mores, strawberries, and gummy worms (which I regret not trying) to name a few. I tried all except fudge and the worms and was not disappointed. I've wanted to try their ice cream for a while but the line is usually out the door during the evening when we go to Pier Park but I braved it this time. I got the marsh mellow s'mores in a cake cone (not a fan of waffle cones) and my husband got a vanilla milkshake. I loved my ice cream and hubs enjoyed his shake and said he'd go back for another (very hard to please so it must have been good). Place is pricey but like another review said, you're in a tourist town. I can't wait to come back next trip and try more flavors!

came here labor day weekend.. lots of chocolates and fudge and ice cream flavors. came in to get some ice cream because it was hella hot outside.. I got the apple pie ice cream which was really good.. wife got the frozen babana which was good too... But caramel apple...although it was like $9 or some ridiculous price I would not pay for an apple was really really good.. a friend in my group got it so I only got to have one slice but it did WOW me.. go ahead.. try the apple and say it's not good... unless u don't like apples and caramel, than don't try it :)

If there were 6 stars I would choose it! This place is amazing. I got a scoop of the banana fudge pie and it tasted like it had fresh bananas and chocolate in it. My sister got a scoop of lemon sorbetto which I was immediately addicted to. They were not weak on the lemon flavor but just as sweet as ice cream and very light. It felt like I could eat a whole bowl of that stuff! My sister also got a peanut butter fudge bar which was also amazing. Then I got dark chocolate covered caramels and chocolate covered Oreos for my parents and they seemed really happy with them. I will definately be stopping by again next trip.

Good, solid ice cream shop, though it seems their main focus is their fudge. They were giving out free samples of their fudge, so I tried one I had never seen before: Cookies and Cream fudge. It was good, but nothing spectacular. I am more of a peanut butter guy, so I should have tried that, but I'm also all for trying new things. I really stepped in their ice cream because I have yet to find a real ice cream shop in PCB (one that makes their ice cream in house). I'm not looking for the chains like Bruster's, Marble Slab, and Coldstone. Bump chain places. They had a large selection of ice cream, and I sampled a few, but settled on the Panama Mud: it was chocolate chip ice cream with a caramel ribbon. The chocolate chip base was slightly crunchy in that the chocolate chips were larger than normal ice creams of the same suit, and the caramel added a sweet, creamy layer of gooey goodness. I really liked it. The other flavor I got was Banana Fudge Pie (not quite sure what that is), and it was a smooth banana base studded with chocolate chips (in the same fashion as Panama Mud). I really like banana ice cream, and theirs did not disappoint. I did have a couple problems with Kilwin's though 1. Like I said, I've been searching for in-house made ice cream in PCB, and Kilwin's has been the closest thing, but...it isn't made in house; rather it is made by some factory in Michigan which ships it down here...it was still good, but not unique. And this troubled me because the fudge crafter said everything in the shop was homemade...except the ice cream. 2. Their prices were a bit outrageous. I paid $7 for a two scoop waffle cone. I recently paid $5 for the same thing back in Bama (at a place that made their own). And their fudge was too expensive to consider. Overall, their shop is cool and worth checking out at least to try their fudge, and their ice cream is good.

We stopped in after some shopping on vaca at the pier. We had been to the one in gatlinburg where we got the most amazing fudge ever! Here we just got ice cream. It was pretty good, but not awesome. It was totally overpriced. I think I'm biased because i live 2 blocks away from a graters ice cream (Cincinnati based, the best ice cream ever). I tried a sample of one that tasted Icy and almost sour, and settled on the chocolate peanut butter which was good. For 3 people each getting only one scoop it was $15, which I thought was over priced for what we got.

So you've hit the beach and worked hard to get into shape. Well Kilwins will help you throw that out the window. With fudge, chocolate, and other sweets abound, this place is 100 calories just walk through the door. If you have a sweet tooth, beware. They have everything in a very beautiful store. If the smells won't get you, the cheaper pre-wrapped bulk candy in the back will. Without a big investment you can sample a lot what they offer with these smaller portions.

Damn good ice cream!! Very creamy and delicious, a very large selection of flavors.. I tried the coconut and the cookie dough, both were fantastic.. Prices are rather high , two scoops of ice cream in a waffle cup was $7, but the quality is high and one is partially paying for the high rent location, in the Pier Park outdoor mall just a literal stones throw from the beach.. Great ice cream place. I went there two nights in a row in fact. There was definitely a wide variety of flavors, and they all looked and sounded great. The flavors i did have were Fried Coconut, Java, French Silk, and Panama Mud (chocolate chip, caramel, chocolate). Although it was a little pricey, it is up there with some of the best ice cream I've had. Probably the only contender to the Amish Creamery in Coco Beach, FL. I paid $6.60 for two huge scoops in a cup (so a cone would be more expensive.) Another plus that won me over is the military discount that they offered. I like to see businesses that do that and I won't hesitate to support a business that does. I sampled the fudge, and it was great, but I felt like I inhaled somewhere around 30g of sugar by just walking in there so I stuck with just the ice cream. If you're in the area, GO HERE!

This place is definitely delish! We couldn't wait to go get some ice cream after we walked by, smelling their freshly baked waffle cones. Both hubby and I tried several different flavors. He settled on a coconut chocolate, and plain chocolate combo. I tried the dulce de leche and the New Orleans butter pecan. For some reason, their chocolate ice cream didn't do it for me. It wasn't as sweet and milk chocolatey as it looked. Also tried the pumpkin flavor, and it wasn't pumpkiny enough. The winner was def the the New Orleans butter pecan. Even my one year old couldn't get enough! The waffle cone was warm and fresh. It made the ice cream taste even better! Can't wait to go back! Check out their specials. They have a deal everyday of the week.

We eat at a Kilwins quite often and like most people we eat the same favors. This location is a tourist trap and the staff could care less. Ordered a single scoop of salted caramel which was runny and about 3/4 of a cup worth of ice cream. I would save your time and money and visit another Kilwins.

came here labor day weekend.. lots of chocolates and fudge and ice cream flavors. came in to get some ice cream because it was hella hot outside..

If nothing else, stop in here and deeply inhale. The smell of this store is amazing. The only thing I have tried thus far is the ice cream and I highly recommend it. I have a serious sweet tooth and look forward to sampling some of their other items such as the chocolate covered strawberries!
